• Larvyn and its evolutions were created as a self-imposed challenge to combine the weakest (Bug) and strongest (Dragon) types in a Pokémon.
• AT 600, Basilect has the highest base stat total of all Bug Pokémon in the Sage Pokédex. Basilect also has the highest base HP and Special Defense stats of all Bug Pokémon in the Sage Pokédex.
• At 134, Basilect has the highest base Attack stat of all Pokémon in the Sage Pokédex.
