087: Magowl

  • Its wings bear the signs of omens, so it keeps them close to its body in a cape-like fashion.
  • Its wings are so large that it cannot fly through the forest. Instead, it wraps its wings around its body and hops from branch to branch.
  • Magowl's feathers grow with each new thing it learns. By the time it should start to fly, it's wings are too weighed down with knowledge.
  • It is said that Magowl used to be able to fly, but were cursed for trying to fly into the heavens and steal the secrets of the universe.

102: Noxial

  • Volatile creatures, Noxial frantically search out and consume chemical compounds. Nobody knows what reaction they are hoping to achieve but more often than not an explosion is the result.
  • Noxial is created by the synthesis of various chemicals with Phlask. Scientists are on the verge of engineering the first synthetic Noxial.

103: Fumighast

  • Comprised of innumerable toxic substances, this roiling cloud of gas is hazardous even from a distance. One Fumighast spotting is often all it takes to clear out an arena or postpone an event.
  • Fumighast is the result of a red Noxial and a blue Noxial colliding with each other. The toxic substances form infinite chain reactions.

178: Mawasite

  • Mawasite lurk on the dark ocean floor. It buries itself in the sand and will strike the first thing which brushes past its exposed antennae.
  • Over time the line between the host and the parasite becomes quite blurred, resulting in a new life form that is neither and both species at the same time.

184: Arjibi

  • Attracted to and often congregate near artificial light, Arjibi are only visible to the naked eye when exposed to bright flashes. They often appear unintentionally in photographs / in cities at night.

  • It's mostly found in ponds and lakes where it tries to fly by moving its fins at fast speeds, this results in a beautiful display of colors on the surface.
  • It loves to swim in clear water. When it undulates its tri-colored fins, light shining through the water casts a rainbow of colors along the surface.
  • Arjibi are much more common than people would think, but they are almost always hidden by the glaring sun. Many appear unintentionally in photographs.

  • Tozecko were worshiped as gods all throughout Urobos's history and cultures. It is said they are born from emeralds.
  • Tozecko were dubbed the messengers of the gods all throughout Urobos's history. Their eggs resemble emeralds.
  • Tozecko fly low but only land once every year, and it's said that when it does all trees and crops around it will grow and bear fruit.
  • They spend their days flying above the rainforest canopy; it is rare for Tozecko to land at ground level. However, legend states that their arrival heralds bountiful harvests.
  • Tozecko searches far and wide for the perfect spot to slumber in the suns rays. When it awakens, plants have sprung up all around it.
  • Tozecko fly to bask in the sun's rays, but only land once every year, and it's said that when it does all plants around it grow/are vitalized from solar energy.
  • They spend their days flying in the sun above the canopy; it is rare for Tozecko to land at ground level. However, when they do, their solar energy vitalizes plant life.
  • Tozecko's leaves have been used by shamans to cure ill travellers. Even the most lethal toxins are no match for the leaves' curative properties.
