Design origin[]

Harpee is based on a harpy eagle chick. Its facial markings look like Simon's goggles from the anime series Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann. A central motif of the anime are drills and digging, which is the reasoning behind its evolutionary line learning the moves Dig, Twister, Submission and Drill Run.
