Trivia[]

  • Orbatom is the fastest Pokémon in the Sage Pokédex.
  • The Atomite family were almost removed from the Pokédex because of time constraints and the length of their design process.
  • At one time during its design, a variety of unconventional designs were submitted for Orbatom, including a toad, a space cop, a "kaiju" and a koala.
  • The Atomite family's moveset starts with Atomite and Orbatom learning moves at levels 2, 6, 10, and 14. This is identical to the number of electrons in s, p, d, and f orbitals
