Trivia[]

  • Chameleohm was almost Electric/Grass type, due to the leaf-like shape of its tail that unfurled during its evolutions.
  • Chameleohm was also briefly proposed as being Electric/Normal type.

Design origin[]

Chameleohm is based on a horned chameleon, similar to Jackson's chameleon. However, its horns are not yet developed. Its hands resemble alligator clips. Its ability to bend light to turn invisible refers to real-life efforts to create invisible materials for military purposes and the ability of some chameleons to change their color to blend in with their surroundings.

Name origin[]

Chameleohm's name is a combination of chameleon and Ohm (the SI unit of electrical resistance).
