Trivia

Design origin

Oarwish is based on both a shooting star and an oarfish. It is a counterpart of Gyarados and Milotic, and is a more defensive/support version of them. Its collar and fins are in the shape of a star, and the tail the tail of a comet. The ridges across its head are a crown, showing that it has grown to the next stage by granting a wish.

Name origin

Oarwish's name is a combination of oarfish and wish.
