Trivia

Design origin

Ocerumi is based on the Incan combat technique of rumi maki, or "hand of stone". These were warriors who wielded gauntlets made of stone. It wasn't until after this design was finalized that it came to light that the rumi maki fighting style is considered a hoax.

Name origin

Ocerumi's name is a combination of ocēlōtl (the Nahuatl name for a jaguar warrior) and rumi maki.
