Design origin

Royjibiv is based on the optical illusion known as rods or skyfish. It also draws inspiration from prisms, as well as the rainbow serpents of Australian Aboriginal lore.

Name origin

Royjibiv's name is a phonetic spelling of the acronym ROYGBIV (a mnemonic for remembering the colours of the rainbow).
